Late last night, Mystery was scratching at an old broken telephone in the corner of Emily's room, behind The Oddisee. Emily had to get on the floor and crawl beneath her desk and through wires and boxes to see what Mystery was up to. "Is someone on the other end?" Emily whispered to Mystery. Mystery didn't answer, she just tilted her head in confusion... Emily picked up the handset and spoke.    "Hello?... is anybody there?"    "Hello?... Hello! Is anybody there?" answered the other end! The voice continued. "...Is Emily there?"    "Ummm...," Emily reached up above her desk and felt around for her tape recorder, and pressed record. " ...OK, this is Emily, who's this?"    "It's me, Patricia."    "...Patricia Who?"    "Patricia Morrison!"    "Whoa! Patricia! How did you get this number?" Emily sat up quickly and banged her head on the desk, and adjusted the knobs and switches on her tape recorder gizmo.    "My cat dialed you, which I found rather strange...and now I've found you!"    "huh. This is an unlisted number... but no matter."    "Can you come on tour with us this summer?"    "Can i ask you a few questions first?... What is it like to be the first girl in the band?    Overdue. Many times I am the only girl on the entire bill, even at festivals. Terrible! It was brave of The Damned to have me in the band. Of all the bands you've been in, describe the most memorable show.    1) Many many years ago I played North Hollywood High School at lunch time. They didn't take to our music back then and I got hit in the arm with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.    2) Last year we did the Warped Tour and the airline lost our luggage so for our first gig I had to wear my 2 day old clothes that I'd worn on the airline for my big entrance in front of 15,000 people.    3) Our Halloween shows are always memorable.
